How long are the scents designed to last?
Cruzi car scents are designed to last between 30–45 days, depending on factors like temperature, ventilation, and how often you drive. Scent strength can also fluctuate over the course of its lifecycle due to environmental factors.
How strong are the scents?
Our scents are crafted to be subtle and refined, ensuring they create an elegant atmosphere without overpowering your space. This prevents issues like nausea or car sickness that can occur with overly strong fragrances, especially on long drives. At Cruzi, we believe subtle is elegance.
Why do I feel like I can’t smell the scent?
It’s common for your nose to adapt to a fragrance after being exposed to it for a while; this is called olfactory fatigue. While the regular driver may stop noticing the scent, new passengers will often detect it straight away. You’ll also likely notice the fragrance again after your car has been closed up for a period of time (e.g., overnight) when you return and open the door.
Are your scents safe?
Yes. Cruzi 'alcohol free' scents are as safe as everyday fragrances, perfumes, and colognes that people use on their skin and clothing. Our products are designed for use in cars and contain similar fragrance ingredients to those found in personal perfumes.
Our scents are intended for ambient enjoyment and not for direct skin application or ingestion. When used as directed, they are safe for you, your passengers, and your vehicle.
If you’re sensitive to fragrances, we recommend starting with shorter exposure (e.g., placing the scent in the car for a few hours at a time) to ensure it suits your comfort.
Are Cruzi ‘Designer Collection’ scents the same as designer fragrances?
No. Cruzi is an independent brand and not affiliated with any other brands. Our scents are created, inspired by and designed to smell like popular designer fragrances, but they are not manufactured by, endorsed by, or associated with those brands.
